Table: New Media Art, control and video surveillance systems

Presentation regarding aesthetic developments and New Media Art, relying on concepts such as communication, interaction and control. We have focused specifically on the notion of control, as a fundamental element of analysis for the development of new technological means in its application on civic and social spaces, from a critical aesthetic performance. At the same time, there is a tour of different artistic projects that arise from the author’s concerns about the concepts analyzed.
